Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, one of America's largest and most comprehensive community-based cancer treatment networks. Together, they offer outstanding cancer care-and patient outcomes equal or superior to national teaching institutions-right here close to home.

    • For the years 2000-2010, our survival rates for Stage I lung cancer were 46%, better than collected data from other cancer centers around the nation.Penrose Cancer Center 2011 Annual Report
    • Patients treated here for prostate cancer in 2003, the last year for which complete 5-year survival data is available, achieved 93% 5-year survival. Most university and teaching hospitals have reported 90% survival.
    • Between May 2011 and May 2012 we completed 270 laparoscopic/robotic procedures related to GYN cancer.
    • For our patients with gastrointestinal cancers, the average number of days from surgery to the start of chemotherapy is 38. The national average is 30-41 days.
    • In 2011, our physicians collaborated to discuss more than 780 different patients at Multi-Disciplinary Conferences.
    • Over the past 2 years, our Genetic Counseling staff has tested over 500 patients. 
    • In 2011, our Outreach team connected with over 2,500 people at dozens of community events and screenings.
